Kings Love Empire boss Ssemanda Manisul commonly known by his stage name King Saha has come out to publicly demand parliament of uganda updates regarding the approval of arts copyright law which process in his own perspective has over stalled.
On Monday (20th/01/2025) during Calvin’s horizon vibe show on UBC TV that features music artists and other performers, King Saha vehemently dismissed Ragga Dee’s claims that suggested the copyright law being in its final stages of approval with a few steps left to table the bill in parliament after years of promises.
The newly appointed interim vice-president of the Uganda Musicians Association (UMA) expressed his frustration over the slow progress regarding approval and amendment of copyright protections for artists. Unhappy King saha also threatened that if his request was not met, artists would storm the streets of parliament in demand to implement and amend the copyright law.
