Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Social Media Administrator to manage and optimize Bensp Press’s presence across all social media platforms. This role is critical to driving engagement, growing our audience, and ensuring our content aligns with our brand’s vision of delivering trusted, high-quality news. The ideal candidate will be agile, communicative, collaborative, and results-driven, with a keen understanding of digital media trends and community management.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with Bensp Press’s mission and vision.
• Monitor, moderate, and respond to audience interactions promptly to build community engagement.
• Analyze social media metrics and generate regular reports to measure performance and inform strategy improvements.
• Coordinate with the editorial and content teams to promote relevant news stories and multimedia content effectively.
• Maintain brand consistency across all social media channels.
• Stay updated on social media trends, emerging tools, and platform updates to keep Bensp Press at the forefront of digital engagement.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications teams to support campaigns and audience growth initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and company standards in all social media communications.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience (minimum 2 years) managing social media accounts for a reputable organization or media company.
• Strong proficiency with social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and emerging channels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a sharp eye for detail.
• Ability to analyze data and deliver actionable insights to optimize social media strategies.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in a media or news organization preferred.
• Familiarity with social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social).
• Basic graphic design or multimedia editing skills to assist with social media visuals.
• Knowledge of SEO and content optimization techniques.
• Understanding of the latest trends in digital journalism and audience engagement.
