Position Summary

The Project Manager at Bensp Press will be responsible for leading and coordinating strategic news projects and operational initiatives across media platforms. This role requires a dynamic individual capable of managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of projects aligned with our mission to provide trusted and timely news. Key Responsibilities

•         Plan, execute, and oversee media projects from inception through completion, ensuring alignment with company objectives and editorial standards.

•         Coordinate and communicate effectively with editorial, technology, marketing, and distribution teams to meet project goals and deadlines.

•         Manage project schedules and resource allocation to optimize workflow and delivery speed without compromising quality.

•         Monitor project progress, identifying potential risks or bottlenecks, and proactively implement solutions to mitigate issues.

•         Facilitate cross-department collaboration, continuous feedback, and transparent communication among stakeholders.

•         Track and report on key project metrics, providing leadership with insights for continuous improvement and learning.

Required Qualifications

•         Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Media Studies, Communications, or a related field.

•         Proven experience (3+ years) managing complex projects within the media, journalism, or related industries.

•         Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

•         Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster teamwork and stakeholder engagement.

•         Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver results on time and within scope.

•         Proficient with project management tools and collaboration platforms (e.g., Asana, Trello, Microsoft Project).

•         Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability.

Preferred Qualifications

•         Advanced certification in Project Management (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar).

•         Experience in digital media platforms and multimedia content production.

•         Knowledge of editorial workflows and news publishing cycles.
