Position Summary
The Market Research Analyst at Bensp Press will play a crucial role in supporting our editorial and strategic planning by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting market data related to media consumption, audience behaviors, and industry trends. This role will provide actionable insights that enhance content relevance and business growth, supporting the vision of becoming a premium global news provider.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies within the media landscape.
• Analyze news consumption patterns and audience engagement across multiple platforms (TV, web, social media, newsletters).
• Provide detailed reports, presentations, and data visualizations to support editorial teams and executive leadership in decision-making.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with editorial, marketing, and business development teams to align research insights with company objectives.
• Monitor emerging media technologies and audience analytics tools to continuously improve data collection and analysis methods.
• Assist in designing surveys, focus groups, and other research methodologies.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to audience growth and engagement.
• Maintain clear, timely communication with stakeholders regarding research findings and recommendations.
• Uphold the company’s values of accountability, respect, and professionalism in all internal and external interactions.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Analytics, Statistics, Media Studies, or a related field.
• Proven experience (2+ years) in market research or data analysis, preferably within media, journalism, or digital content environments.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SPSS, Tableau, Google Analytics).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex data into actionable business insights.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in fast-paced and dynamic environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Advanced degree or certification in Market Research or Data Analytics.
• Experience using social media analytics platforms and audience measurement tools.
• Familiarity with news media ecosystems and content consumption trends.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles and SEO analytics.
