Position Summary
The International Business Manager will lead Bensp Press’s strategic expansion and partnerships in global markets to drive sustainable growth and brand presence. This role requires a proactive leader skilled in business development, market analysis, and relationship management across diverse international landscapes. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments to align global business strategies with the company’s mission and values, ensuring successful market entry and revenue generation internationally.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute international business strategies to expand Bensp Press’s presence in target markets globally.
• Identify, negotiate, and secure strategic partnerships, collaborations, and distribution agreements with international media, technology, and commercial partners.
• Conduct comprehensive market research and competitive analysis to identify growth opportunities and risks in global media markets.
• Coordinate with editorial, marketing, legal, and finance teams to ensure compliance and alignment with local regulations and company policies.
• Manage international sales pipelines, including contracts, negotiations, and deal closures.
• Establish and maintain strong professional relationships with international stakeholders, government bodies, and industry organizations.
• Monitor and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to international business growth and market penetration.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams involved in international projects, fostering a collaborative and fast-paced working environment.
• Represent Bensp Press at international conferences, trade shows, and industry forums to enhance brand visibility.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, International Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in international business development or a related role, preferably within media, publishing, or digital content industries.
• Proven track record of successfully expanding business operations into new international markets.
• Strong negotiation, interpersonal, and communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cultures.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities for market and competitor assessments.
• Proficiency in English is essential; other languages are an advantage.
• Familiarity with global media industry trends and regulatory environments.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with equity-based compensation models and startup or scale-up environments.
• Robust network of international contacts within media, government, and business sectors.
• Ability to navigate complex cross-border legal and commercial frameworks.
• Proficiency with CRM and business analytics software.
