Position Summary
The Human Resource Manager at Bensp Press will lead and develop HR strategies and initiatives that support the company’s mission and core values. This role is responsible for managing all human resource functions including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, learning and development, and compliance. The HR Manager will foster a professional, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment that nurtures talent and drives organizational success through effective people management.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with Bensp Press’s mission and core values.
• Manage the full recruitment cycle, attracting and onboarding top talent to support company growth.
• Oversee employee relations, addressing concerns and promoting a positive workplace culture.
• Design and manage performance management systems that motivate and develop employees.
• Coordinate training and professional development initiatives to ensure continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies across all operational jurisdictions.
• Advise and coach leadership on HR best practices to enhance teamwork, accountability, and results focus.
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, aligning them with equity-based remuneration principles.
• Maintain accurate HR records and prepare regular reports on workforce metrics and initiatives.
• Foster a diverse, respectful, and inclusive workplace consistent with company values.
• Lead change management initiatives to support business transformation and agility.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in media, technology, or fast-paced sectors.
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
• Proven experience in recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated capability to drive HR initiatives that align with strategic business goals.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency with HR software and data management tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible, remote, and fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree or HR professional certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, CIPD).
• Experience managing HR in a media or news organization.
• Familiarity with equity-based compensation models.
• Experience in designing training and continuous learning programs.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
