Position Summary
The Financial Analyst at Bensp Press will play a critical role in supporting the company’s financial planning, analysis, and decision-making processes. This individual will analyze financial data, develop forecasts, prepare reports, and provide meaningful insights to guide strategic initiatives and resource allocation. Key Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor financial performance by measuring and analyzing results, initiating corrective actions, and minimizing the impact of variances.
• Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends, revenue streams, expense patterns, and profitability metrics to identify risks and opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Editorial, Sales, Operations, and Technology) to align financial goals with business strategy.
• Support investment analysis and capital allocation decisions to maximize the company’s growth potential.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and best practices.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems, processes, and tools.
• Assist in development and monitoring of KPIs related to financial health and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Proven experience (3+ years) as a Financial Analyst or similar role, preferably within media, technology, or fast-paced industries.
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and management reporting.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial software tools.
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong time management skills.
• Demonstrated ownership mindset and accountability.
Preferred Qualifications
• Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related discipline.
• Experience with media business models, revenue streams, and digital content monetization.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.
• Knowledge of equity-based compensation models.
• Experience working in agile, collaborative, and fast-paced environments.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in diverse teams.
