Position Summary

Bensp Press seeks an innovative and skilled Audio Producer to lead the creation and production of high-quality audio content that aligns with our mission of delivering trusted news and stories. The Audio Producer will be responsible for conceptualizing, producing, and optimizing audio material across multiple platforms to engage our diverse audience and elevate Bensp Press’s reputation as a global news leader.

Key Responsibilities

•           Plan, produce, and oversee the end-to-end development of all audio content, including podcasts, news bulletins, interviews, and special features.

•           Collaborate closely with editorial teams, reporters, and multimedia producers to create compelling and accurate audio storytelling consistent with Bensp Press’s mission and values.

•           Manage audio recording sessions, ensuring sound quality, clarity, and professional standards are met.

•           Edit and mix audio content using industry-standard software, maintaining a high standard of production quality.

•           Develop content schedules and timelines to ensure timely delivery of audio material aligned with publishing deadlines.

•           Stay current with industry trends to continually innovate the audio production process and format.

•           Implement and maintain audio asset archiving systems for efficient retrieval and reuse.

•           Coordinate with marketing and social media teams to maximize reach and audience engagement of audio content.

•           Ensure all audio content complies with copyright laws and Bensp Press editorial policies.

•           Train and mentor junior audio staff and interns to maintain production excellence.

Required Qualifications

•           Bachelor’s degree in Audio Production, Journalism, Media Studies, Communications, or related field.

•           Proven experience (3+ years) in audio production within a news media or digital content environment.

•           Proficiency with audio editing and mixing software (e.g., Adobe Audition, Pro Tools, Audacity).

•           Strong understanding of storytelling, news production, and media ethics.

•           Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

•           Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams.

•           Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

•           Experience with multimedia content management systems and distribution platforms.

•           Knowledge of audio SEO and strategies to increase listenership and engagement.

•           Familiarity with podcast production and distribution channels.
